Heimlich Maneuver comes in clutch for mom desperately trying to save her son's life

The heart-pounding scene captured in this footage shows how quickly life can turn upside down!

It features a boy choking on a water bottle cap. Thankfully, his mom ends up saving the day, despite panicking frantically.

"My son put his mouth on the water bottle with the cap still on and squeezed the bottle. The cap flew off and water went into his mouth," the mom, Amber Greenwell, told WooGlobe. "When he started beating on his chest, I ran over and started blows to his back, and when that didn’t work, I started the Heimlich maneuver.

"He started turning blue and his body was going limp. I thrust harder and faster, which finally resulted in the cap coming out."

The 'I thought it was over' hug that Amber gives her son after saving his life reeks of emotion, which the viewers will easily feel.

"To look back and see I almost lost my son, all because of a piece of plastic, broke me," she added.
