Study finds low-cost version of drug can treat depression

Australian and New Zealand researchers have found ketamine currently used by veterinarians could help some people with severe depression. The study of about 180 patients in both countries has found more than a fifth had total relief from their symptoms when treated with a generic version of ketamine.
