Decommissioned INS Khukri handed over to Diu Administration

INS Khukri (P49), the first indigenously built missile corvette of the Indian Navy, was handed over to the Daman and Diu Administration on January 26. The decommissioned Khukri is planned to be converted into a museum by the Diu Administration for public visits. Speaking on the occasion, Rear Admiral Ajay Vinay Bhave expressed his deep appreciation to the administrator for his initiative of kick-starting the homecoming journey for INS Khukri and said, “INS Khukri will be India's 1st full warship museum; co-located with INS Khukri Memorial.”
