Dr Mahathir in IJN's Cardiac Care Unit

A spokesperson from the office of Dr Mahathir Mohamad has confirmed that the former premier is currently being treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN)'s Cardiac Care Unit.

At close to 4pm, the spokesperson responded to media queries, stating, "Yes, he is in CCU".

IJN is expected to issue a statement sometime later today, according to Mahathir's office.
