A seven year old double amputee from Kings Hill, who's campaigned for tougher child cruelty sentences, has received government backing for new legislation.

Tony's Law will be included in the police, crime sentencing and courts bill by the beginning of the new year.

Tony's mother Paula, says despite the success, this isn't the end for their campaign, as they now want to create a child cruelty register.
