Kent MP Tom Tugendhat has demanded tougher sentences for cases of child cruelty.

The Tonbridge and Malling MP put forward a change in the law in Parliament this afternoon.

This comes after Tony Hudgell from Tonbridge had his legs broken when he was a baby. His adoptive mother Paula has been campaigning for harsher punishments.
