Shardul Thakur stroked two more sixes and a four during his 21-ball 30 and the best shot of his innings was arguably the one he hit off all-rounder Ben Stokes. It all happened on the fourth ball of the 45th over when Shardul Thakur danced down the track and smoked Ben Stokes for a six over his head. So impressed was Ben Stokes with that that he proceeded to check Shardul Thakur’s bat. He tried to do an encore against Mark Wood but, unfortunately, got a thick outside edge off his bat to give a catch to Jos Buttler.
