British border e-gates to open to S. Korean passport holders

Travelers from South Korea are now able to use automated e-gates at 15 airports across the UK.
The e-gates, which were only previously accessible to British and European passport holders, …have been extended to South Korean passport holders, …along with visitors from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and the U.S. ..as of May 20th.
Travelers aged 18 and over …traveling with passports with a chip …can use e-gates without registering in advance.
Children between the ages 12 and 17 can use the gates when accompanied by an adult.
The British government has also decided to scrap paper landing cards for international passengers.
