An elderly South Korean victim of Japan's wartime sexual slavery has died,... leaving the number of registered survivors at just 22.
Kwak Ye-nam ,… who was just 19 when she forced into sexual slavery for Japanese troops in 1944,... died at the age of 94 on Saturday.
Although South Korea and Japan signed an agreement to compensate the victims in 2015,…the Moon Jae-in administration says the deal was struck without the victims' consent and a sincere apology from Japan.
Some 200-thousand women, mostly Koreans,... were sent to brothels to serve Japanese troops during World War Two.
