NS loaded coal

After a doctor's appointment, I went down the alley between Granby Street and Llewellyn Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia, and saw a red-over-yellow colorlight (signal indication would be appreciated). Sure enough, a loaded coal train approached Llewellyn Avenue with a non-Catfish leader! This loaded coal train had a GEVO/Catfish lashup, and the GEVO said "UNDER WARRANTY" below the cab windows. Awesome sounding Nathan K5HL horn! Also, when I'm in the car, you can see me with my camcorder, filming and waving in the mirror.

*Also note the jogger who ran right in front of the train like he didn't have any better sense. One trip and he would be done. Dumbass!*

Recorded 9.3.2008

NOTE: THIS IS A ROUGH AREA OF NORFOLK. USE COMMON SENSE AND DO NOT RAILFAN HERE AT NIGHT. IT'S NOT WORTH RISKING YOUR LIFE JUST TO SEE A TRAIN GO BY. IT'S MOSTLY COAL/EMPTY HOPPER TRAINS AND POWERMOVES ANYWAY.
