Passers-by bring driverless trike to a halt on busy road

Passers-by rushed to stop a three-wheeler on a busy street in China that was making out-of-control doughnut movements after its driver was thrown out of the vehicle after colliding with a car at high speed.

The CCTV video, filmed in Bozhou City in eastern China's Anhui Province on February 3, shows the driver being hurled out of the three-wheeler after it crashed with a silver car at an intersection.

The trike then beings to do doughnuts while the driver lies on the ground, perilously close to the out-of-control vehicle.

In the video, a police officer and another motorist attempt to stop the trike to prevent the driver from being run over.

After a while, more passers-by arrive to help.

According to local reports, the police officer and the trike driver suffered minor injuries.
