# 1977 - Nutu Olteanu (guitar solo), Emil Lechinţeanu (bass guitar) and Nelu Dumitrescu (battery) based Iris.
# 1978 - First appearance discografic on compilation music pop bands 3, part of Emil Brando - "sail", taking it as vocalist John Jecan. During this period collaborating with Sorin Chifiriuc (Domino, Sfinx).
# 1980 - relaunched the band in the formula Adrian Ilie, Anthony Hasias, Niki Dinescu, Cristian Minculescu
# 1984 - Iris, the first heavy metal album in Romania [citation required] considered by many fans as the best product of the band
# 1986 - setting the current composition of the coming of Valter Popa and his Doruleţ Borobeică
# 1987 - Iris II appears
# 1988 - The Iris III - Do not stop!. Year 1988 was very agitated for one band. The group is suspended Iris being considered at that time an "adversary" dangerous regime and also a negative example for the youth communist Romania.
# 1990 - The band are destroyed in a fire.
# 1993 - The IRIS V album considered to be the most strongly influenced by heavy metal type. [Need citation]
# 1996 - The band signed a contract valid for six years with Zone Records, one of the clauses is the production of at least one new album every year, the first result of the new collaboration disc full moon.
# 1997 - In October 17 takes place at a concert hall Polivalenta anniversary, during which guests are most of the former components.
# 2000 - Iris project is conducted - Athenaeum, where a number of pieces are reorchestrate by working with a philharmonic orchestra.
# 2002 - white silk emergence album coincides with the jubilee Iris 25. The disc includes collaboration with Mick Box and Bernie Shaw, members of the British band Uriah Heep. (It is released on this occasion Lady in black, sang the lyrics in two languages, Romanian and English.)
