Trump blames Barack Obama for Syria chemical weapons attack

President Trump condemned the Syria chemical weapons attack, claiming the crime was a "consequence of the past administration's weakness." “President Obama said in 2012 that he would establish a ‘red line’ against the use of chemical weapons and then did nothing," White House press secretary Sean Spicer Dozens of civilians, including many children, were killed in one the deadliest gas attacks in northern Syrian rebel-held city of Khan Sheikhoun. Following the attack, Sen. John McCain called on Trump to intervene in the Syrian civil war instead of withdrawing from the conflict.
