Syria chemical weapons probe stalled after UN team comes under fire

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons says its inspectors have not yet been able to reach the site of a suspected gas attack in Syria, dismissing earlier reports circulated by Syrian state media.
The OPCW said they again failed to reach Douma on Wednesday after a UN security team came under fire.
The chemical weapons watchdog has been waiting nearly a week to enter the alleged attack site to determine whether banned substances were used to strike the area.
Western nations have accused Syria and its ally Russia of deliberately stalling their entry to tamper with evidence.
The two countries deny that is the case and deny any chemical attack took place.
The OPCW said it is unsure when its delegation can enter Douma due to the unstable security situation there.
