Bossier City had hoped that Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne would say more about Barksdale Air Force Base as the new cyber command at Air Force anniversary ceremonies today in Washington, but the secretary's remarks were limited to information announced last week.
Wynne spoke during the Air Force's 60th-anniversary ceremony at the Pentagon and talked briefly about cyber command.
"Another threat we must manage centers on our newest threat: cyber space," Wynne said. "We are standing up a new command."
