Danish indie rockers The Raveonettes wowed the crowd at the JBTV studio with their track “Dead Sound” off their 2012 album Lust Lust Lust [VICE Records]. Formed in 2001 in Denmark , the Raveonettes is a dark and electric duo made up of members Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo. The band draws influences from across the spectrum, incorporating sounds from 50s and 60s rock, as well as bands like The Velvet Underground and The Jesus and Mary Chain. The Raveonettes have released seven albums total; their latest release being the surprise release of Pe’ahi [The Beat Dies] which came out earlier this year.
