Gold digger: Ungrateful daughter tries to badger her father to death for her inheritance

Mr. Li had two daughters, one from his first wife who’d passed away and a second daughter from his second wife after he’d remarried.
Mr. Li had long since retired and both his daughters were grown, unfortunately, his eldest daughter continually badgered him and his wife for money.
The eldest daughter eventually began to demand that her father deed her the house in his will. She would often have screaming arguments with her father and stepmother as often as 4-5 times a day. The eldest daughter then went on to vent her spleen on her younger half-sister, slapping and punching her from time to time.
Mr. Li couldn’t stand watching his daughters fight so he bought another house and moved himself, his wife and his youngest daughter out. The first house he left to his eldest daughter and hoped it would satisfy her.
Unfortunately, the peace in the family didn’t last long. The eldest daughter returned and began demanding that her father and stepmother get divorced. She wanted to know exactly what she would inherit from her father, she didn’t want to share any part of the pie with her stepmother or her half-sister.
In anger, Mr. Li grabbed a bamboo rod and began to beat his eldest daughter. After she collapsed unconscious on the floor, Mr. Li stopped and called emergency services. Doctors were unable to save the woman.
A judge has sentenced the 70 year old man to 4 years in jail for the murder of his eldest daughter.
But now the youngest daughter can rest easy, her older sister won’t be beating her anymore and the youngest is going to get the entire pie once her parents pass on.
