Donna Douglas, best known for her role as Elly May Clampett in the Beverly Hillbillies died today, she was 81. She was born in 1933, in Pride Louisiana. She stared in all nine seasons of the Beverly Hillbillies and even returned for the 1981 reunion TV movie. Douglas attended St. Gerard High School, a Roman Catholic school, where she played softball and basketball. She was a Miss Baton Rouge and was named Miss New Orleans in 1957.
