Costa Concordia ends final voyage to scrap yard

Salvage workers breathe a sigh of relief as the wrecked cruise liner -- the Costa Concordia -- safely reaches her final destination Sunday.

The salvage mastermind, Nick Sloane, is met by his wife and daughter at the Genoa scrap yard in Italy.

The four day journey began at the Tuscan island of Giglio, where the ship sank on January 13, 2012.

It concludes one of the largest and most complex maritime salvages ever attempted.

Italy's Prime Minister Matteo Renzi was on hand to praise its success.
