Corpse found in Costa Concordia wreck thought to be final victim
  • 9 years ago
Three years after the Costa Concordia sank off the coast of Italy, workers have found a body on the wreckage of the luxury liner.

Italy's coast guard believe the body is that of Russel Rebello, an Indian waiter- the only person still unaccounted for, after the disaster.

The Concordia sank off the Italian island of Giglio near the Tuscan coast in January 2012, killing 32 people.

In July 2014, the wreckage was refloated the island and towed away to be scrapped in the northern port of Genoa.

The ship's hulk is due to be completely broken up by 2016.
