English Coastline Battered by Stormy Conditions

A powerful storm hit the south of England on February 5, bringing giant waves that battered coastal towns, adding to the devastating floods which have hit parts of the UK this week. Thousands of homes along the south coast have been left without power and transport amid severe flood warnings, prompting Prime Minister David Cameron to pledge $160m in funds to repair the area over the next year.
