Sometimes crooks get busted at the most inconvenient moments, prompting them to stoop to desperate methods. A bizarre case recently made reports, involving a DUI suspect, Christopher M. Scheller Junor, who stashed stolen goods and drugs in his own body after crashing his vehicle.

The accident occurred in December. According to police, 19-year-old Scheller lost control of his car in Heidelberg Township, Pennsylvania causing him to careen off the road and strike a tree.

He was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. Police were dispatched to the scene. Scheller had to be transported to York Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.

Although police suspected Scheller was drunk, they got a surprise after doctors at the hospital performed an x-ray on him. They noticed what was called “an abnormality in his rectum”.

Scheller, although hesitant, eventually consented to have the then unidentified objects removed. Once everything was pulled from his rectum, police learned he had stored drug paraphernalia, synthetic marijuana, along with stolen necklaces, bracelets and rings that had been taken from a nearby residence.

He is now in jail, facing a slew of charges.
