Pussy Riot reunion

Two members of Russian punk protest band Pussy Riot are reunited hours after they were freed from jail.

Both women remain defiant despite nearly two years behind bars.

They dismissed the amnesty law that set them free as a propaganda stunt.

Nadezhda Tolokonnikova promised with her fellow band member to fight for human rights.

(SOUNDBITE) RELEASED PUSSY RIOT MEMBER NADEZHDA TOLOKONNIKOVA, SAYING:

"We would like to discuss the goals, tasks and structure of our (human rights) project. We want to outline them together and in detail. We both have some ideas about it and would like to transform then into a common project."

Maria Alyokhina said after her experience inside that she would work for the rights of prisoners.

(SOUNDBITE) RELEASED PUSSY RIOT MEMBER, MARIA ALYOKHINA, SAYING:

"We didn't stay indifferent to the situation of women in jail, to the fact that they are seen as some obedient clay. We want to change that."
