New Candle Scent - KFC Fried Chicken

With the huge chicken fan base in mind, a new collection was unveiled that features an innovative candle scented to replicate KFC’s huge bucket of signature fried chicken.
Some people go crazy over fried chicken. There’s something about the dish and it’s not just the taste. With the idea of promoting Kentucky’s products and places, a candle collection was recently unveiled, featuring an innovative scent replicating KFC’s bucket of signature fried chicken.
The promotional team at Kentucky For Kentucky collaborated with a local woman, Kathy Werking, who specializes in unique candles.
Together they created a trio set of candles, with scents reminiscent of the state of Kentucky.
Amazingly, the scent isn’t artificial. Werking fried real chicken in a natural soy wax to get the desired scent. The remaining two candles in the collection smell like the state’s official soft ginger beverage, Ale 8 and the mint juleps of the Kentucky Derby.
The candles will be sold on a limited edition basis just in time for Christmas on the Kentucky For Kentucky website. Staff at the organization described the candle set noting “Let the fresh, fried sizzle of savory golden goodness drift into your hearts and homes with one of our most delectable creations to date."
