NO GMO?: Bill Making it Mandatory to Label Genetically Modified Foods Fails to Pass

A bill that would have mandated genetically modified foods be labeled in Washington state was shot down by voters. Those for the bill said it was defeated because of corporate giants spending millions of dollars on deceptive ads. Federal governments around the country have been eyeing the first of its kind measure. Victors say it?s a win for farmers who can now be more productive.
