The tragic accident occurred at 6pm wednesday night, when a truck carrying scrapped cars lost its trailer in bad weather. A minivan full of children traveling in the opposite direction was struck head on by the trailer, killing seven occupants. Severe rain and fog limited both driver's ability to see, shortening reaction time.
