California Super Sports is a minigame collection released to DSiWare. Similar to Nintendo's seminal Wii Sports in concept, California Super Sports gives you several sports to choose from. Unlike Wii Sports, however, it's not entirely intuitive. The game includes dodgeball, rollerblading, target practice, croquet, shuffleboard and even lawn darts. The quirkiness of the selection is one of the game's strong points. Its controls, on the other hand, are not. Three of the games use the same clunky scheme, which leaves a majority of the game feeling disappointing. Still, the controls notwithstanding, the minigames are simple enough for younger players to enjoy.
