Madonna's MDNA tour hits the big screen

Dressed in a top hat and white bow tie Madonna brought formality to the premiere of her new concert film "The MDNA Tour" in New York.
The movie was filmed during Madonna's recent world tour, with the majority of the footage coming from her stop in Miami.
The concert series was seen by over 2.2 million people globally and was the highest grossing tour of 2012.
On the red carpet she talked about the creative process behind the show.

"Whenever I go on tour and whenever I create a show I always want to raise the bar and do something that's never been done before, by me or anybody. So just creating the stage itself was quite an undertaking."
Each night the pop star was joined on stage by 27 dancers, who went through 1500 costumes respectively over the course of one performance.
For Madonna, the dancers are a vital piece of the production.
