"SHAMBALA DAIKO"
... is a german drum performance group playing with japanese taiko drums. The performance is a song mixture from traditional japanese ones to self written modern western ones. The sound is big swelling, sometimes groovy, sometimes aggressiv and every time touching your deepest inner being.
Additionally SHAMBALA DAIKO is teaching taiko drumming in schools, youth clubs and other institutions for an alternative to frustrations, alcohol, drugs & violence as well as pushing physical & mental health combinated with fun and music.
It´s more and more used for teambuilding sessions in modern corporations, too.
Shambala Daiko was founded 2010 in Berlin
Premiere of a 30-minutes live act at EFK Final Day Event in Berlin 21.10.2011
Meanwhile "Shambala Daiko" was playing on different events & is training people in differnet corporations for team-building and schools for strengthen the health
