REEL SUSPECTS is based on the ten years experience of its founder Matteo Lovadina in the international sales & acquisitions field, and is devoted to bring a new cost effective business model to its partners from all over the world. After more than 10 years as sales & acquisitions topper with Paris’s Wide Management, Lovadina felt that it was the right moment to develop his own project, as the international market is changing forever to new directions, and specialized niches are constantly growing. Promote films in a new and different way, with an eye on newcomers, might be the final goal of REEL SUSPECTS. A special attention will be given to the marketing side.
REEL SUSPECTS is extending over new technologies and competitive strategies to find new audiences and networks.
Specialized in European art house films, ranking from genre films to the most cutting edge cinematic features & documentaries, REEL SUSPECTS‘ editorial line is based on a reel passion for photography and eye catching cinematography; it will focus on special niches such as LGBT, Erotic, Cults and Video Arts. Extended from first-timers directors to revered cinema masters, the still growing REEL SUSPECTS‘ catalogue is already presenting some classic films such as “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” by Marc Alléret. REEL SUSPECTS wills to constitute a significant back catalog thanks to a solid relationship with prestigious producers. With the growth of new media the back catalogue will represent a precious asset.
On the production side REEL SUSPECTS will develop projects that fully correspond to his editorial line. Elisa Mishto “On the border” will be the first project to be presented on the international coproduction market and already benefits of several European countries interest.
In the future, the company is seeking to acquire around 4 or 5 new films and 1 or 2 projects a year, in order to carry out customized schemes to generate new talents and stimulate emerging directors.
