The state of Washington will soon see the opening of its first marijuana retail stores, and among those waiting eagerly is Adam Stites, manufacturer of marijuana-infused coffee.

He calls his company Mirth Provisions and promised that his brew will, “establish unprecedented chillness” and have people listening “to the dark side of the Moon again.”

In formulating the blend, he was careful to make sure it didn’t offer too much of an effect.

Among his concerns were people having an unpleasant experience and people new to marijuana accidentally overdoing it.

He likens the strength to a single IPA or glass of wine.

Also important is that at 20 milligrams of THC per 11.5 ounce bottle, he’s in compliance with the Washington law designating 10 milligrams per single serving and 100 milligrams as the total maximum allowed in consumables.

Stites spent a year working in his kitchen perfecting the recipe and has since also developed a version with cream and sugar.

He’s also found a means of bottling hundreds of units per hour.

All he’s waiting for now is final state approval and a place to sell it.
