Api.LEGIT Reamey

Born Jalal Reamey Jr, Api.LEGIT found a love in music early on in life. Growing up in Okinawa, Japan, he often spent his time listening to artist and creating videos in his head for the songs not released as singles on the albums. His biggest influences in created his taste in music were his older sister Tonya who would listen to a lot of gangsta rap and r&b and his step mother who would listen to a lot of soul music. He always had a passion for creating music but didn't take it seriously until he met his brother Jeremy who really saw something legendary inside of him and his passion,smooth delivery and lyricism. As he got older he developed his own style and became so good at his art he was able to finish whole albums in the matter of days. He went through a few names and finally stuck with Api.LEGIT. Api stands for Artfully Providing Information/Intellect/Insight/Inspiration etc. As he continues his mission to deliver himself to the world in music form first, his biggest motivations are art, loyalty, creativity, emotion, and the lack of substance and soul in today's music. He is now founder of his street team LEGIT [League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Introducing Talent] . This is only the beginning chapters of his assured legacy.
