Spielberg, Kidman in Cannes; Drake leads BET noms

Steven Spielberg arrived at the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 15). The Oscar-winning director is the head of the 9 member jury, who will ultimately decide which film wins with festival's prized Golden Palm award. Other jurors on this year's panel include Nicole Kidman and "Life of Pi" director Ang Lee.

The nominations for the 2013 BET Awards have been announced and Drake leads the list of contenders with 12 nominations, including five in the video of the year category. In addition to the top prize, Drake is also up for male hip-hop artist. The awards will take place in Los Angeles on June 30.

Christina Aguilera will reportedly return as a judge on the television singing competition "The Voice" next season. Aguilera went on hiatus from the program to promote her latest album, "Lotus." Sources say that Aguilera has inked a deal worth 12 million dollars to return to her judging chair.
