Gray: Preston knew Moyes was destined for the top

The former North End chairman discusses the soon-to-be Man United boss' time with the club from 1998-2002.
He talks about Moyes' transition from player to boss at Deepdale, why he thought that the Scotsman would succeed in management and feels he deserves to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
Gray also looks at Preston's many historical links with Manchester United and reveals the club had a bid for David Beckham turned down when he was at the club on loan in 1994.
