David Flitcroft says he always believed Barnsley would win their fight for Championship survival.
A 2-2 draw away to Huddersfield in the final game of the season on Saturday ensured the Tykes avoided relegation to League One.
Speaking to talkSPORT on Monday, Flitcroft said: "The players fought tooth and nail, the fans fought tooth and nail and the staff did, to achieve something which at one point seemed mission impossible. I really believed we would do it and we deserved it."
