STORY: Amateur video posted on a social media website purports to show the impact of Syrian government shelling on a bridge in the city of Deir al-Zor in Syria.
One video clip, purportedly filmed on Thursday (May 2), pans across a collapsed bridge structure in the distance, focusing in on areas that have experienced the most destruction. A man off camera says: "Evidence of destruction to this bridge from the explosion of the elevated bridge by the regime."
In another video segment, a destroyed bridge is seen from further away as a man off camera says: "The collapse of the elevated bridge as a result of the regime's forces bombing it. Only the columns of the bridge remain. It's being bombed by tanks now violently."
Another amateur video clip shows a night scene with thick smoke billowing out of what a man off camera says is Damascus International Airport.
