Candidate tests transgender political gains in Pakistan

A previously marginalised group of people in Pakistan can now vote and run for office.

A 2011 Supreme Court ruling has given transgender people, known as hijras, the same political rights as everyone else.

Al Jazeera's Imran Khan met one person in Karachi who's aiming to break the mould in Pakistani politics.
