Afghan security forces continue handover preparations

Afghan commandos conduct readiness drills in Kabul as the clock ticks down to the handover of security by international forces.
By the end of 2014, Afghan forces are supposed to handle all of their own security, but the question of whether they'll be ready to do so remains unanswered.
According to NATO officials, the answer is yes.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) SPOKESMAN FOR INTERNATIONAL SECURITY ASSISTANCE FORCE (ISAF), BRIGADIER GENERAL, GUNTER KTAZ SAYING:
" But what we see today is that they work more and more independently and that they are able to plan, lead and conduct 80 per cent of all the operations here in Afghanistan already by themselves."
But Afghan military experts aren't as optimistic. One former Afghan general says a lack of management, corruption and insufficient equipment are just some of the main concerns.
