Robert Redford noncomittal on future of London's Sundance event

Robert Redford said on Wednesday (April 24) that the future of London's Sundance film and music festival was by no means certain, as he launched the British version of an event that aims to boost interest in independent film.

"I think it's hard to declare the length of a commitment until you let it play out and see how it goes. I think our commitment to be back here is a result of last year us liking it and it apparently going well for Londoners and so this year will be the same and I think it just depends on how things roll out."

This year's line-up includes both the Canadian musician and performance artist Peaches and the Eagles.

The US rock band, though not performing, will take part in an extended discussion on Saturday following the screening of their documentary ' History of the Eagles - Part One."
