Boston suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in 'stable condition'

New video shows how police monitored Boston suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's movements from the air.

Helicopters with thermal imaging cameras read the 19-year-old's heat signature in the back of this boat

A robotic arm then lifts the tarp just before a flash bang grenade is thrown inside.

Tsarnaev was taken into custody soon after. He was seriously wounded and is under heavy guard at a local hospital.

SOUNDBITE: Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis saying:

"The suspect is in stable condition. There is a special interrogation team that is standing by to talk to him. That hasn't happened and until it does, until this investigation is moved forward, we won't know definitively what will happen."

Federal prosecutors are preparing charges against the ethnic Chechen. He moved to the States ten years ago and became a U.S. citizen on September 11th of last year.
