Chinese say quake relief too little, too late

A day after the deadly quake, which killed at least 208 people, many in Lushan county say government relief has arrived too slow.

(SOUNDBITE)(Mandarin) 37-YEAR-OLD MOTHER CHENG ZHIRONG SAYING:

"I was terrified, so scared. I didn't care if I got crushed, but I couldn't risk my child's life. I am worried now because we don't have a home, we have nothing to eat. What can we do without a home?"

(SOUNDBITE)(Mandarin) 44-YEAR-OLD FARMER LUO YUQUAN SAYING:

"I'm not satisfied. You can see, we only just got pot noodles. This is the first time since it happened yesterday that we have seen pot noodles. We don't even think about rice. We haven't eaten. And as soon as we get anything, of course we give it to the children first. We are not happy, we feel terrible."
