NRI couple's fight with UK Government

An NRI couple hailing from Jalandhar, Punjab, living in Oxford has accused the United Kingdom social service of taking away their five-year-old child on suspicion that he was being "sexually abused and improperly touched" by his father. Social services in the United Kingdom had taken away the child from his parents alleging that the child was a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of his parents. But the parents blame the cultural differences between the two countries for the misunderstanding. The parents were allowed to see their child thrice in the last one month. The couple has now turned to the Indian government for help.
