Hamas re-elects Khaled Meshaal

Palestinian Islamist group Hamas has re-elected Khaled Meshaal as it's leader. Since 2004, the 56-year old has headed the movement, which controls the Palestinian territory of Gaza and refuses to acknowledge Israel. Last year, however, he negotiated a fragile truce with Israel and Egypt.
