Last Minute Earl was born in mid 2011 as a solid five piece developed from solo artist and song writer Shawn Morrow. Our original material doesn't quite cover a specific genre but WON'T DISAPPOINT! Drawing influence from such bands and artists as The Strokes, Paulo Nutini, Fight Star, The Red Hot Chili peppers, John Mayer, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol, Kasabian and Stereophonics we have inherited a captivating style. With our three part harmonies, driving guitar riffs, melodic acoustic guitar and bangin' rhythm section we never disappoint! We are about to embark on our first full band recording session. On completion the recordings will be amalgamated with Shawn's first EP giving us a stylistically broad seven track EP. We will be giging as much as humanly possible over the following months So stay tuned for a gig near you! The songs 'Found Something', 'Cold' & 'Your Mother is Excellent' were written and performed on Shawn Morrow's EP 'Found Something'.
