Influenced by the Motown era, Amali's music is timeless, drawing inspiration from old school legends like Stevie Wonder to contemporary counterparts such as Cee Lo Green and Amy Winehouse.
With a band comprised of some of the best musicians in Australia, Amali's live show has seen her grace the stage of Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival, Southern Roots Festival and tour with Seal, Naturally 7, Paris Wells and The Bamboos.
2012 is looking to be a busy year for Amali, recording her debut album with super musician and producer, David Ryan Harris (John Mayer, india.arie), winning the John Lennon International Song Writing Contest for her track, 'Knock You Out,' and featuring on the infectious Dr Don Don track, 'Good Thing'.
Now comes an early taste from the new album, 'Leave Me Alone,' remixed by Sydney producers, Qwarms.
