Legendary British band Led Zeppelin that brought the world tracks like "Whole Lotta Love", "Kashmir" and "Stairway to Heaven" and who inspired generations of rockers with their blend of guitar-driven musical styles, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ECHO awards in Berlin on Thursday (March 21). To pick up the prize on behalf of the band were former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and bass and keyboard player John Paul Jones. The annual ECHO award ceremony honours German national and international artists based on their sales figures. After receiving the award, Page told Reuters that he was still looking to inspire younger generations of musicians.
