Sharks among the winners at wildlife summit

The world's oldest predator has been given a lifeline after the international body tasked with protecting endangered species agreed to restrict the trade of five types of sharks. However, not all animals on the threatened list were as lucky, as the meeting of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species concluded in Bangkok, Thailand.
