Coconut Chutney

Recipe to prepare "Coconut Chutney":

Ingredients:
1 small bowl split gram/bhuni chana dal
1 small bowl fresh coconut, chopped
2 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
salt to taste
For Tadka:
1 tbsp vegetable/refined oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
4-5 curry leaves

Method:
Take a mixer/grinder; grind together split gram, coconut, green chillies, ginger and salt into a fine paste.
Transfer the paste/chutney in a bowl.
For Tadka:
Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds, and let them crackle.
Add curry leaves; stir and saute well.
Pour tadka over the paste/chutney. Coconut Chutney is ready to serve with idli, dosa, or any other meal.
