Bobby Rogers, a founding member of the singing group Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, has died.

Rogers reportedly passed away at his home in Southfield, Michigan after a lengthy illness.

The Miracles had a string of hits in the 50s including "The Tears of a Clown" and "Tracks of My Tears".

Rogers was 73 years old.
