The Independent's man in Spain, Pete Jenson, claims Rafa Benitez isn't the favourite to replace Jose Mourinho at Bernabeu.
Reports from La Liga had suggested the Blues chief could be on his way to Spain at the end of the season, when his temporary contract runs out at Stamford Bridge.
But Jenson claims Galacticos president Florentino Perez would be reticent to pin his re-election hopes on the Spaniard.
